With hundreds of hotels and resorts lining white sand beaches, and a reputation for first-class nightlife and dining draw more couples to Cancun and Riviera Maya than any other Mexican destination.
With seven resorts along the Riviera Maya, Karisma Hotels and Resorts offers packages that range from the simple to the extravagant.
One of my all time favorite resorts is the El Dorado Royale Resort and Casita Suites.
El Dorado Royale offers adults only all inclusive honeymoon, and wedding packages in Mexico. This resort is actually 2 resorts in one, the El Dorado Royale and El Dorado Casitas Royale. El Dorado Casitas Royale guests have a special designated beach area.
I must say that the Casita suites are my favorite. The unique rooms make this resort perfect for a honeymoon, wedding, anniversary vacation, or romantic getaway. You can choose a garden view junior suite, one of the best values in Mexico, and still get a jacuzzi for 2 in the room. On the other end, the Presidential Casita Suite is worthy of any celebrity. In between you have 8 other varied categories to choose from. I highly recommend the Casita Suites at El Dorado Royale.
One of my favorite features of this resort is the food. The Gourmet all inclusive package is the second biggest reason you should consider El Dorado Royale. In addition to 7 gourmet restaurants, you’ll also find a pizzeria and a Mexican “gourmet bites” restaurant. The El Dorado has a green house and grows most of their fruits and vegetables on the property. This resort has gone green and it makes a difference!
Thinking about bringing the kids….try Karisma’s Azul Sensatori Resort. One of the only resorts in the Riviera Maya that allows you to have 2 adults, plus 3 kids in one family room. This room also offers a sliding door with privacy for the parents!! The Azulito Kids Club, is one of the best in the Riviera Maya. At Azul Sensatori, a kid’s club and teen club await the younger guests while a full service spa and fitness center provides relaxing treatments and invigorating options for the more mature guest.
There is plenty to do from snorkeling and sightseeing boating trips to beachside horseback riding to exploring the mysterious cenotes (underground fresh water sink-holes). Easy day trips include Mayan ruins at Tulum and Chichen Itza or popping over to Cozumel or Isla Mujeres for a change of scenery.
